Somatic Healing: From The Inside Out

Somatic Healing is a body-centered approach that helps release emotional pain, stress, and trauma stored in the nervous system. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which focuses on the mind, somatic practices engage the wisdom of the body to restore a sense of safety, balance, and connection.

Through gentle awareness, movement, breathwork, and guided techniques, Somatic Healing helps you tune into the body’s natural signals and responses. This process allows trapped emotions and survival patterns to safely surface and unwind, creating space for deeper calm, clarity, and resilience.

Somatic Healing is for anyone seeking to feel more grounded, present, and free. By reconnecting with your body, you reconnect with your inner wisdom and open the door to authentic healing from the inside out.

Affirmations For Healing

These affirmations are designed to help remind you that you are safe, supported, secure, and protected. These affirmations also help those who suffered from anxiety or have past trauma or neglect break out of any unhealthy "freeze" response and re-engage mind and body.

More From Unlock Your Life

Feels Like Reiki To Me!

Unlock Your Life by Clinical Hypnotherapist Sarah Dresser is a place where you can tap into the unlimited power of your subconscious mind to heal, grow, and transform in mind, body, and spirit. I am amazed to experience how these practices naturally awaken my body’s innate healing intelligence. As I soften and feel, my body moves energy, releases what no longer serves, and reconnects to peace.

I discovered that when the body feels safe and supported, it can begin moving into a self-healing state, similar to what happens during Reiki and energy work (even when practicing alone!). From an energetic perspective, your life force / qi / prana can begin to move freely. From a nervous-system perspective, it's trauma discharge and somatic unwinding. You don’t need someone else to “turn it on” for you; rather, your body knows how to heal, your energy knows how to move, and your nervous system knows how to release.

NOTES: Try the videos below before sleep for 21 days, or click the banner above to find more videos from Unlock Your Life's complete library. I recommend that you get comfortable in bed with the lights dimmed or off before beginning videos (think of a how you might rest on a massage table at a spa - comfortable and ready for healing). I also want you to know that this process is safe and natural, and you are always in control (something I questioned when the energy started unexpectedly flowing and when my body began involuntarily moving for the first time). If the sensations ever feel overwhelming, simply pause, take a few slow breaths, and reconnect with your body by placing a hand over your heart or belly, noticing your surroundings, or opening your eyes and sitting upright. Rest assured that your body knows how to guide you. Healing isn’t something forced - it unfolds at your pace and in your own time. You can always stop, slow down, or come back when you’re ready. You are safe to explore, feel, and soften into your own inner wisdom.

Heal Self-Love from Abandonment, Trauma, And Loss

Heal your heart and soul from emotional wounds in this deeply restorative sleep hypnosis session with the help of your spirit guide or guardian. This gentle journey will help you heal from abandonment, grief, loss, or any emotional or spiritual pain with the support of my words and your spirit guide or guardian protector. With the support of your guardian, whose light unites with your own and amplifies your power, you are guided into deep relaxation and then travel to your heart space.

Chakra Healing Before You Sleep

This Rapid Chakra Healing While You Sleep healing hypnosis (meditation) takes on not just one but TWO levels of healing, first with the power of your subconscious and then a second wave of healing - with your subconscious uniting with the Superconscious - to heal not just the major chakras, but the minor ones too and also your meridians throughout your energy body.  Do not skip the relaxation induction as it serves as a slow, steady, and powerful start to your healing.

Stop Intrusive Thoughts And Overthinking Before You Sleep

Rather than forcing you to confront your thoughts, hypnotherapy uses techniques to quiet the mind and free you completely from cycles of intrusive thoughts and overthinking. Take space from intrusive thoughts as you step out of your mind and receive support in many forms to give you the freedom you need. Reconnect with your true identity with the support of nature and a special guide here to help you.

Attention & Stillness

Join Stephanie Lopez for a meditation designed to explore what is most essential about you. We each have a natural or awake awareness that is present moment-to-moment. However, as we live our daily life we generally focus on the objects in our environment or in our minds such as sensations, emotions, and thoughts. This 35-minute meditation will support you to shift attention from changing objects and let attention land within unchanging awareness itself where your innate sense of ease and stillness may shine through.

Meeting Core Beliefs

The Great Inhale with Richard C. Miller

Resting in Knowing You Are Enough

In this meditation, we take time to settle in, set an intention and open into the Inner Resource and from here we dive right into meeting a belief. We also take time to rest in and feel ourselves as the Witness or the Awareness through which all the perceptions continually move. The Inner Resource is woven throughout the practice, and there is a short integration to close out the meditation.

Vagus Nerve Exercises

Your vagus nerve runs from your brain to your large intestine. Its most important role is controlling your autonomic nervous system, which helps your body switch back and forth between flight-or-fight mode and rest-and-digest mode — and there are some actions you can take that make it easier for your vagus nerve to do its job. For more information about what your vagus nerve is, click here.
